Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: Five years minimum experience with maintenance work that includes electrical, plumbing, carpentry and HVAC experience.
Working Conditions: Manual labor, work is performed indoors and outdoors. Required to drive company vehicle. Travel is required between agency locations and surrounding community. Some clean up and handling of hazardous material may be required. This position offers a flexible work schedule and will require on-call hours.
Primary Responsibilities Include Must have working knowledge of electrical wiring, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry and painting. Must be able to do heavy lifting (move furniture, boxes of records, etc.) and operate equipment required for the position (power tools, hand tools, ladders, etc.). Must be able to take the lead on projects and coordinate with Manager. Other duties as needed or required.
Hourly pay range: $15.00 to 18.00
Must have valid Florida driver's license, have automobile liability insurance, personal vehicle and a driving record that is acceptable to Suncoast Center. Must be able to complete a level II background screening and pre-employment drug test in compliance with Florida Law.
